I just finished my second Murakami book, and I can't wait to dig into another one.
Norwegian Wood is very different from his other novel I read, After Dark. It takes place in real time, and moves at a slow and melancholic pace. But the characters are interesting, and you are immediately drawn into their world. The book is beautifully written, and takes an intense and thoughtful look at relationships, love, and friendship.
It left me feeling a little bit blue, but hopeful at the same time.
