potato plant

It happened to me. I'm sure it's happened to you. You leave a potato waiting to be cooked for too long, and it turns green and starts to sprout spuds on you.

So I stuck this sucker in some dirt, and he quickly sprouted some leaves. I want to transfer him to my backyard so he can grow me some more potatoes, but I'm worried that the gopher will eat them first.

For now, he looks good sunning himself on my windowsill.
